This pattern reminds me of the coffered ceilings in Italy where master artists used shading and diagonal shapes to trick the eye of depth of field making the ceiling look like there was crown moulding when it was completely flat. That’s what this one does for me. I designed it to cover a chair or love seat with a soft plush fabric. The first of many pieces for a makeover of the retreat suite.
