Suzanne Moore will be teaching "Beyond Pigment and Paste" at the American Academy of Bookbinding in Telluride from September 14-18, 2023

The techniques presented will expand your repertoire of surface design to explore dimensional surfaces, “writing,” and image-making. Create individual or edition work for use as book pages or covering materials.

Explore a new way of using “paste paper” techniques, and go beyond what you might imagine: beginning with color fields, and patterns, and leading to experiments with resists, dry media (pastels and graphite), and create the look of dimension on paper. Suzanne has developed an array of effects, over decades as a maker of unique and edition work. Whether your vision is illustrative or abstract, there are techniques to realize your images.
