Our staff boasts an impressive 125 plus years of experience in the food industry and several food scientists. With the acquisition of our twin screw extruder, the Food Centre’s potential in exploring commercialization opportunities are greater than ever. This new technology is capable of transforming a wide variety of agricultural crops into innovate consumer food products such as snack foods, breakfast cereal, pet foods, meat analogues and bio-products. The Food Centre houses a state-of-the-art federal facility that is HACCP Approved, Organic Certified, Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) approved for meat, dairy and processed foods, and FDA approved. Our facility is set up to process a variety of food products destined for world markets.
