Meet Khaled and Walid, the owners behind Pop’s Shawarma YXE 🌯

Pop Shawarma started about six years ago during the COVID era, when both Khaled and Walid had to pause their regular careers and rethink their path. That’s when they made the decision to invest in a food truck and Pop Shawarma was born 🔥

Today, they serve up authentic Middle Eastern street food with a twist, including shawarma wraps, rice bowls, and even a Canadian-inspired favourite shawarma poutine 👀

They’re at Gather Local Market (414 Avenue B South) six days a week, even through the winter! 🙌
