The Sutherland Curling Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Dallas Burnett as our next General Manager.

Dallas has been part of the SCC team since 2018, working in a variety of roles including ice crew, front desk, lounge operations, and administration, most recently serving as Assistant General Manager for the past two seasons.

We are excited to see him step into this new role and look forward to the continued growth and success of the club under his leadership.

After 8.5 seasons at the Sutherland Curling Club, Dwayne Yachiw has stepped down as General Manager of the Sutherland Curling Club and entered retirement.

On behalf of myself, our current and past board representatives and our current and past membership, I would like to thank Dwayne for everything that he has done for our club over the years. The Sutherland would not be where it is today without his guidance and hard work. We look forward to seeing Dwayne at the Club as he continues to coach, but maybe now he’ll have time to play some curling as well!

I’m sure that I speak for everyone in wishing Dwayne the very best in his retirement.
