Factor Eight

Hey friends, over the next three weeks I’m participating in a really unique collaborative and explorative interdisciplinary artist residency called FUSE here at the Banff Centre.

I’m so grateful, honoured, and excited to be a part of this residency among 29 other musicians and multidisciplinary artists from around the world, along with some incredible faculty, all in such unique practices including circus, projection art, acting, dance, and more.

I am excited and honoured to share that I created trailer music for Apple TV’s SMOKE. The show’s theme is composed by from - someone whose vulnerability in their music has been inspiring to me, and to say he’s been an influence is a bit of an understatement.

While my approach is a bit unorthodox, it is what I’ve found as the most direct expression of my personal and artistic voice, and in a world where AI can create generic music instantly, projects like this remind me that authenticity not only resonates deepest, but connects commercially as well.
