Saskatoon Friendship Inn

We are often asked if Friendship Inn serves supper. With our focus on reducing hunger and knowing there are very few evening meal offerings in the community, we are now offering a free dine-in supper, three days per week from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Like breakfast and lunch, supper is available to anyone, with no qualifying criteria. Our hope is to support people who are struggling with food insecurity by providing hot, nutritious meals at a time that is convenient and accessible.

Our model is unique, operating almost entirely through donated food resources and financial support. Every year, we rely on the generosity of our community to help us meet the growing need and bring more meals to the table.

There was so much joy in welcoming back a familiar face we hadn't seen in many months.

Beth, a beloved guest, has faced many difficult challenges over the years, including addiction and chronic health conditions. For a long time, she moved between the streets and temporary shelters, experiencing many setbacks along the way.

When Beth returned to the Inn, we were overjoyed to see her healthy, sober, and smiling again. She shared that she had also found more stable housing, a milestone worth celebrating.

Every journey looks different. Moments like these remind us that hope is always possible, and that having a community that welcomes you back without judgment can make all the difference. 💚

To donate, stop by the Inn at 619 20th St. W. Simply ring the doorbell beside the overhead door in the alley adjacent to our parking lot, and a team member will be happy to assist you. No appointment is required!

We gratefully accept donations daily between 7:30 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
