First, shipping from our shop to the US is still turned off. This is for a couple of reasons. We are keeping an eye on the situation at the border and are aware that packages are still taking an inordinate amount of time to cross from Canada, regardless of whether duties have been prepaid or not. Also, we have conditionally sold our home, with a moving date of November 14th.

With how busy an interprovincial move is, we have decided to keep US shipping turned off until after our move. We will need some to set up our shop in our new home, so if that goes well and the situation at the border has settled we are hopeful to reopen late November or early December.

Secondly, Canada Post walked off the job this afternoon as I walked in to drop a package. This means that effective immediately we will be unable to ship to PO boxes until the strike has ended. Since this has just occurred we have no idea of when this will be. We will update as we learn more.

This has truly been a year of hard knocks. We are so thankful for all of our wonderful customers’ continued support. You have all truly become like family to us!

Yellow Dog Designs is relocating!! It will be a number of months before it happens, but there will be some shop closures in those coming months as we prep for our big move. The first closure will be from August 6th through August 20th. We plan to reopen on August 21, 2025. We’re so excited for a fresh start in a new province! Can anyone guess where we’re moving to? 🦅🌊🌲🌸🌧️🏔️
