It’s the best day of the year - relived!! 🍿

In a long overdue post, we are so proud to congratulate another cohort of 🩰BEGINNER POINTE🩰 dancers for completing their first year ON POINTE!!

These dancers started with at least 7 months of training in soft shoes (some of them, a few years!) before joining us at Dance Street for their first ever Pointe Shoe Fitting in April. Since then, they've been hard at work preparing and breaking in their new shoes. Before we finished the season, we were doing relevés in the centre and walking en Pointe along the barre!

Pointe is an incredibly difficult aspect of Ballet, and only the most dedicated dancers are able to achieve this. It takes a lot of blood, sweat, and maybe some tears, but these dancers are loving it 🧑‍🩰

Here's to another season en Pointe! 💚
