As you celebrate, don't forget to keep your canine companions safe:

🎆 Skip taking your dog to fireworks displays, many dogs find them overwhelming.
🏡 Create a quiet, comfortable space indoors with the TV, fan, or music on to help mask loud noises.
🚶 Exercise your dog earlier in the day before festivities begin.
🚪 Keep doors and gates securely closed when guests are coming and going.
🧩 Provide a frozen enrichment toy or chew during the evening to help keep them occupied.

Last weekend, Samroo Service Dogs’ Head Instructor Kaylee Kucher, CPDT-KA, and SSD Weston had the opportunity to attend the Behaviour in Practice Conference, presented by the Saskatoon SPCA.
Continuing education is an important part of our commitment to providing ethical, evidence-based training and the highest standard of service to our clients and their dogs. We're grateful for the opportunity to learn from industry professionals, connect with fellow trainers, and bring new knowledge back to the Samroo community.

We’re excited to announce that Samroo Service Dogs will be attending Sask Pet-a-Palooza this June as a vendor!

In collaboration with Retrieving Royal Pet Gear we’ll be offering a collection of stylish pet accessories including collars, leashes, bow ties, and bandannas.

Every purchase helps support a greater purpose — 100% of proceeds from gear sales will be donated toward the continued development of Samroo Service Dogs and our mission to build Saskatchewan’s future in service dog training and accessibility.

We can’t wait to meet fellow pet lovers, connect with the community, and share what we’re building. See you in June!

Samroo Service Dogs is a Saskatchewan-Based Service Dog School currently in development, with the goal of becoming a registered non-profit, charitable organization.

Our mission is to provide highly trained service dogs while fostering accessibility and independence. We are committed to building a program that prioritizes:

•Ethical, Science-Based Training
•Education & Improved Standards
•long-term success of both dogs and handlers

At this stage, our focus is on developing the foundation of the organization, including governance, polices and program structure. These steps are essential in building a service dog school that is both sustainable and reliable.

We look forward to sharing our journey, providing resources and contributing to the service dog community in Saskatchewan!
