Little Lite Reading

A coworker was downsizing her book collection and decided to bring the books she no longer wanted to the school. She offered her excess books to staff. You know me and books 😂😂😂. Anyway, I couldn’t wait to snag these two for myself!! How could I walk away from these 2 very different classics!
I’m gonna admit something here - I have never read The Grapes of Wrath. I know. I know. How is that possible?!?! It was never assigned in any of my classes and I’d doesn’t generally fall into the genes I normally read 🤷🏼‍♀️
So, I’ve promised myself it will go into my TBR pile and I WILL read it this year. I also told my coworker that I would take the excess books and donate them to little free libraries in my area! Stay tuned for a post about that adventure!

Due to a nasty slip and fall on some ice, I’m down and ordered to rest for the next week. Now that I’ve finally figured out a comfy place to sit while I heal, I can start attacking my TBR pile.
First up is Resurrection Walk by Michael Connelly Books. I’m loving the book, but I have to keep reminding myself that this is a Lincoln Lawyer book and not a Bosch book. Therefore, the speaker 90% of the time is Mickey. I’m so used to reading Bosch books it keeps catching me off guard 😂😂😂
