The Chicotte's Embrace

In the heart of darkness, where shadows dance and memories linger, a lone elephant stands, its trunk entwined with the cruel embrace of the chicotte. This instrument of torture, a whip woven from pain and oppression, becomes a haunting symbol of colonial brutality.

The elephant, once a majestic creature of the wild, now bears the weight of a nation's sorrow. Its eyes reflect the countless lives lost and the enduring scars of a brutal past.

Beneath its feet skulls silent - witnesses to the horrors endured - their empty sockets staring into the abyss of history.
