We’re excited to share a research opportunity that Jessie is supporting in collaboration with researchers at the University of Toronto. 💙

Calling autistic youth who want to share their voice, connect with others, and contribute to research!

The research team is inviting autistic youth (ages 7–14) to participate in collaborative sessions focused on creating a meaningful and accessible resource together. Participants’ ideas, experiences, and perspectives will help shape something made by and for autistic youth.

The team hopes to better understand the lived experiences of autistic young people and use those insights to create an information resource that reflects their voices and needs.

If your family is interested in participating or learning more, please contact the research team directly using the email address or QR code included in the flyer.

We’re proud to support research that values authentic lived experience and helps ensure autistic youth have a voice in creating resources for their community.

Last night’s Life Skills group was serving up more than just mini burgers 🍔
From cooking patties and building burgers to practicing safe food handling and kitchen routines, these boys worked hard every step of the way. So many important skills were packed into one evening — fine motor coordination, sequencing, teamwork, independence, and confidence.

And honestly? The burgers looked pretty incredible too. 👨‍🍳🔥

We love watching skills grow in ways that feel meaningful, fun, and real-life… and we’re hoping these kitchen skills keep showing up long after group is over. 💛

There’s something really special about watching kids slow down and truly look. In a world that moves so quickly, these little moments—hands in the grass, eyes searching, curiosity leading the way—are where so much growth happens. 🌱
