At KinderCare we are looking for a dynamic and responsible individual to join our team in the Toddler Program.


1. R.E.C.E. Toddler Room – 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Implement an inclusive stimulating early learning program that promotes the four foundations of Learning: Belonging, Well-Being, Engagement and Expression.
• Provide supervision of the children to meet their physical and emotional needs.
• Provide a welcoming and nurturing environment by engaging in supportive and respectful interactions with the children regardless of culture, socio-economic background, language, or special needs.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment in which children can thrive.
• Support and contribute to positive communication with families.
• Document the development and growth of individual children.

Applicants for the above positions must possess:

• Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (an asset)
• Experience working with children in a group setting.
• A high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, tact, and discretion.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Sensitivity and respect for individual and cultural differences.
• C.P.R. and First Aid training or be willing to enroll in course.
• Clear Police Records check.
• Bilingualism (is an asset)
