Team Croisier

It was an honour representing Northern Ontario at the 2023 New Holland Canadian U-21 Curling Championship this past week. Although we finished with a 4-4 record, disappointingly just short of playoffs, we had a blast in Rouyn-Noranda! 💚💛

We want to say an enormous thank you to the city of Rouyn-Noranda for being amazing hosts, and to all of its volunteers that made this nationals possible! Also, Curling Canada, the ice makers, convenors, and officials, who made our time on the ice so enjoyable and memorable. Lastly, as always, thank you to our supporters and sponsors. Whether it be from afar or from the stands cheering us on, we could not have done it without you all! Especially our national sponsors First Resource Management Group Inc and Vivier who sponsored us as we donned the green and gold, and our home club the NCU Community Centre who truly made it feel like home! 🥰

A huge congratulations to Canadian champions Team Plett and Team Tao who will be representing Canada on the world stage! And félicitations to the Northern Ontario boys Team Burgess Curling for winning a very impressive silver medal!🥈

Also, congratulations to Piper for winning the Fair Play award for leads in the women’s field and to Coach Shauna for winning the Coach’s Fair Play award for the women’s field and the Coaching award!

As this event wraps up our schedule and Bella, Piper, and Celeste age out into the U-25/women’s field while Dom remains junior-eligible, Team Croisier will be going our separate ways after the great 2022/23 season we’ve had together!
