In April, we’ll be exploring the magical theme of metamorphosis~ just like the journey from a tiny caterpillar to a beautiful butterfly! 🦋

Fun fact: Eric Carle created his signature illustrations by painting colorful tissue papers and then cutting and layering them into collages. That’s why his artwork looks so vibrant and textured!

Next month’s Weekly Class theme is Hungry Hungry Me, inspired by the playful storytelling and vibrant collage style of Eric Carle. Our artists will explore texture, pattern, and storytelling while creating their own growing, munching masterpieces!

Fun fact: The Very Hungry Caterpillar was illustrated using hand-painted papers that were cut and layered into collage ~ a technique our students will experiment with too 🥹
