The Role
As the on-site manager / property manager assistant, you will be responsible for travelling around the greater Vancouver area to meet our preferred contractor at various appointments at various properties. You will also be responsible for deliveries to and from various properties, stores, etc. This role requires you to pick-up items. You will show our homes to potential residents. You will be building and maintaining email content for our communication with prospective homeowners and residents to create memorable experiences for our homeowners and residents.
Hours are flexible and we’re looking for someone that can help throughout the week, starting with a max of 20 hours a week. This would be a perfect part-time gig for anyone who wants to make extra money and is willing to jump right on when help is needed.
You must be an outgoing individual and have an eye for detail, focus and attention to every task given, and hustle, you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Onboard homeowners and new properties by meeting with the homeowner in person, introducing the property management process, answering any questions, and taking high-quality photos and video tours of the properties
Arrange in-person showings of the properties to potential tenants, conduct informal interviews with the potential tenants, help them get through the rental application process
Conduct move-in and move-out inspection with residents
Develop positive relationships with Condo, Apartment Building Managers, homeowners as a representative of Stanley R&R Management
Delivering/Picking up necessary keys, items, inventory from office, or stores, to various Stanley R&R Management properties throughout the Greater Vancouver Area (i.e. Vancouver, Richmond, North Vancouver)
Strong Communication skills, requires you to communicate between the Field Operations, Residents and Homeowners Managers, Residents, and potential Tenants
Building and maintaining email, text, and call communication with prospective tenants, and residents
Arrange with residents and sometimes meet contractors for various inspection appointments, service and repairs of properties (e.g. Electricians, Utilities, Cleaner)
Occasionally lift heavy items
Attention to detail and ability to ensure completion of tasks, with exceptional time management
Ability to multi-task and be energetic and eager to learn
Ability to work independently and problem solve
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be able to pick up technology quickly, ability to use a smartphone to get your daily tasks and send updates to operations manager
Must have reliable transportation and (bonus if you drive a cargo van) a valid BC Driver's License, and proof of insurance
Excellent organizational skills
Customer-service focused and detail-oriented
Empathetic, kind, thoughtful, responsive, and timely
Ability to work weekends and some holidays
Ability to roll with the punches - priorities and schedules change quickly and we need someone who can keep up in a fast-paced environment
Clear and excellent communication at all times, regardless of whether things are going right or wrong, must be able to update managers and escalate issues before they become a bigger deal
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to an adverse situation
Experience in real estate is a big plus
Photographer experience is a big plus
