This was my first tournament, and it came from a decision I made during my knee injury — to keep going, to keep showing up, and to believe in myself even when it wasn’t easy.

With a grateful heart, I won gold in Adult Beginners Traditional Kata. 🥇

I stepped onto the mat carrying everything I’ve learned — every lesson, every struggle, every moment of doubt… and I gave it my all.

This means more than just a medal.
It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come, and what I’m capable of when I don’t give up.

I will keep learning, keep growing, and continue to sharpen my skills.
