May 5 is Red Dress Day.
A day to honour and remember the thousands of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people whose lives have been taken or forever changed.
Across Canada, red dresses are displayed as powerful symbols of loss, resilience, and the ongoing call for justice.
This day is not only about remembrance, it is about action. It is about listening to families, supporting communities, and committing to meaningful change.
We all have a role to play in advancing awareness, accountability, and safety for Indigenous peoples.
