This is the calm before the storm.
5:30 a.m. on the first day of the 2026 Pile O' Bones Rodeo.
At 7 p.m. that dirt will be flying as some of the best rodeo contestants from across North America will compete in this CPRA sanctioned event.
The thrills and excitement of barrel racing, steer wrestling, roping, and bull riding, all indoors with rodeo fans cheering on both contestant and stock.

Rodeo 101 - Team Roping
Team roping is all about speed, timing, and teamwork. The header ropes the steer's horns or head and turns it, while the heeler ropes both hind legs. When both ropes are tight, the clock stops.
Top teams finish in under five seconds—but leave the barrier too early or catch only one hind leg, and costly penalties can take them out of contention.
Some of the best in the world take part in the ultimate test of teamwork.
