As camp is quickly approaching, I wanted to let families know that we still have a few spots available in both July and August!

Many of our days are nearly full, with only a handful of spaces remaining, but we wanted to make sure families know there are still opportunities available if support is needed this summer. 🫶🏼

Meet Gracie! 🤍

Gracie recently joined our team and is newer to the disability field. From day one, she came in with an open mind and quickly connected with the people we serve. She has stepped into challenging situations with confidence, compassion, and a willingness to learn. We are so grateful for her hard work, authenticity, and positive attitude. We are lucky to have you on the team!

What do you do for work, and what is your educational background? 📚
I am currently a full time student working towards my Bachelor of Social Work degree at the University of Regina. In the fall I will begin my fourth year and start my mini practicum. Along with that, I am also completing a reconciliation studies certificate through the U of R and First Nations University of Canada. For the last 3 years, during the summer I have worked at Echo Valley Provincial Park!

What do you enjoy most about being a part of the 2nd Home team? 💫
I enjoy being part of a very welcoming and supportive team that prioritizes building meaningful connections and care with each other and for the people that they work with. The 2nd home team emphasizes providing quality person-centred care and I admire everyone’s ability to truly provide a safe accepting place for people to learn and grow together. I am beyond grateful to be a part of this team!

What do you like to do for fun? 🎥
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing cards, and watching movies. I also enjoy doing escape rooms and playing sports!

What is a fun fact about you? ‼️
A fun fact about me is that I have slept outside in a tipi 4 times!
