We are moving towards the use of administrative penalties for impaired driving. A commitment to strengthen road safety across the province.
This approach will provide police with additional options to remove impaired drivers from the road faster.
Allowing law enforcement more time and resources to protect Saskatchewan people on our highways and in our communities.

Impaired driving is objectionable conduct. 🚩Have a game plan for finding a safe ride home. Police can intercept impaired drivers during routine traffic stops on Saskatchewan roads. Drivers who are stopped by police should expect to be asked to give a roadside breath sample, even if alcohol use isn’t suspected.
