You just never know where a piece of nature will end up…

That’s something we’re reminded of again and again.

Last year at one of our markets, a gentleman spent quite a bit of time looking at our bear cub beanie. There was something about it that really drew him in.

He asked if it was washable… (it is 😊)
And then he shared why he was asking.

He was a pediatric surgeon from the Philippines… and he wanted to wear it with his scrubs.

We were honestly a little speechless.

To think that our little bear cubs, photographed out in the wild - would now be part of comforting children before surgery… that’s something we never could have imagined when we first started this journey.

It was such a powerful reminder that people connect to wildlife in deeply personal ways… often for reasons we’d never expect.

And it’s also why we do what we do.

Our Canadian-made bamboo-lined beanies aren’t just warm and comfortable… they carry real moments from nature into people’s everyday lives - sometimes in the most meaningful places.

I don’t think we’ll ever look at this beanie the same way again.
