I’m feeling so honored (and a little emotional) to be taking graduation photos for someone incredibly special... my best friend’s son, Denver. I’ve watched him grow from a wild little toddler into a kind, respectful, and hardworking young man.

It’s truly surreal to see him step into this next chapter, and I couldn’t be more proud.

Congratulations, Denver — you’ve become someone this world truly needs.

This might just look like any other engagement shoot but it is so much more than that! This is my daughter's father and his gorgeous fiancé. I was honored to not only be a part of the purposal but to also shoot their engagement photos. What these photos don't show is the bumpy road it took to get here. What these photos don't show are the hurt feelings, the arguments, the perseverance, and the growth that it took to get to this point. We've gone through it all and have all probably hated each other at one point but here we are. My heart is overwhelmed with emotion as I write this post. The growth I have seen in each of us and the relationship we now have as we all co-parent our daughter is absolutely beautiful. Thank you Simon & Kenzie for allowing me to capture such a special time in your lives! 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🥰

What a year it has been! Initially, I started my business with the intention of focusing solely on family photography. However, I ended up exploring a whole new world of opportunities. From capturing moments at a 50th birthday celebration, a child's birthday party, two markets, a wedding, and even a bachelorette party, it has been an incredible journey. And guess what? I have graduation photos lined up and my very first family shoot too!

I am very grateful to all of you who have supported me throughout this past year. Whether it was a simple like, a comment, a share, or spreading the word about my work, every little bit has made a difference. They say that word of mouth is the greatest compliment, and I couldn't agree more. A special shoutout to those who have recommended me to others - your support means the world to me!

Got the honors of shooting a Bachelorette party tonight! What a fun time! 😊 I can't wait to get all the photos edited!
