I hope your younglings are enjoying their youth organizations, not everyone is allowed to join those, you know. But this is important, they need to learn their proper roles in the country. Although, there's really only one runner but I've been told that I need to pretend there's more than just one runner. This is an elimination of political opposition with no other parties being allowed to run in case of different ideologies and no other individuals being allowed to run that hasn't already been discussed and checked repeatedly at the risk that they don't follow the proper agenda of the state.

I am pleased to announce that Pravda, our wonderful, trustworthy newspaper, has successfully prevented someone's death - uh, I mean, someone's detainment - by redacting a section. However, be sure to let the NKVD know if someone's being anti-communist. Remember, the benefit of the collective over the individual.

A rejection of personal freedom of speech and the right to live since if someone speaks unkindly about Stalin, they die or are detained. Then self-interest is sort of being rejected since the collective is supposed to be thought of as more important than the individual but it also benefits individuals if they tattle about others about their involvement with the political opposition.

I am happy to announce that my new nickname is "Uncle Joe." Please ensure that you spread the word of my benevolence and that any pictures of me glorify me. However, I know that I don't have to worry about this because my friends, the NKVD, have assured me that any and all publications of me are entirely positive.

Personal freedom of speech is being ignored since the writings must be positive and are most likely untruthful considering Stalin's actions during the Cold War and his involvement with Holodomor.
