Six years in the Gasoline Alley Farmers Market has come to an end.

This canvas was painted by my mom when we made the decision to open a permanent Taco Monster location in the market. I had taken a photo of the Red Deer River, our illustrator Brian created Chomp floating in a tube, and my mom brought it to life on canvas.

It was more than just a painting. It represented a dream. A dream to build something new and exciting in Red Deer. A taco spot that played by its own rules, did things differently, and created something fun for all ages.

As I take this canvas down today and pack it away, I am reminded of the excitement, hope, and vision we had when this chapter began.

I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity, for the love we received, and for every person who supported Taco Monster along the way. I truly hope this is not goodbye forever, just the end of this chapter. My hope is that one day we will see you again in a new space, with the same excitement and excellence you have come to know and love.

In the meantime, maybe this summer I will finally get a chance to float down the river myself.

While we enter our last weekend in the Gasoline Alley Farmer's Market, we are filled with gratitude for all of those who have supported us over the past 6.5 years. Thank you for cheering us on, hyping us up, and buying our tacos. We hope you never forget the joy tacos can bring, and that we get to serve you again in the future.
