Following an extensive tour across Romania, the band released new material, including the singles Contratimp and Do I Owe You One?, further strengthening their musical identity.

On poursuit la présentation de nos finalistes Planetrox Europe avec Taking Back August, un groupe originaire de Bucarest reconnu pour ses performances énergiques et son metal teinté d’influences rock, livrant des compositions puissantes interprétées en roumain.

Après une importante tournée à travers la Roumanie, le groupe a dévoilé de nouveaux extraits, dont Contratimp et Do I Owe You One?, affirmant encore davantage son identité musicale.

It’s time to announce the Planetrox Europe 2026 finalists!

After reviewing nearly 125 submissions from 20 European countries, our judges have selected the four bands who will compete in the Planetrox Europe 2026 Final 🔥

🏆 The finalist bands are:

🇫🇷 IANWILL — Paris, France
🇷🇴 Taking Back August — Bucharest, Romania
🇩🇪 LUTHER — Berlin, Germany
🇫🇷 Lazywall — Strasbourg, France

Congratulations to the selected bands and to all participating artists for the outstanding quality of submissions this year.

🎸 The final will take place on June 10 in the Czech Republic during Rock for People 🇨🇿.
The winning band will then be invited to perform in Québec City at Envol et Macadam 🇨🇦 in September 2026.

Après l’analyse de près de 125 candidatures provenant de 20 pays européens, nos juges ont sélectionné les quatre groupes qui représenteront la finale Planetrox Europe 2026 🔥

We were extremely impressed by the quality of the bands who applied this year to Planetrox Europe 2026. 🔥

Nearly 125 emerging Rock / Punk / Metal / Hardcore bands from across Europe submitted their applications, and our judges had the challenging task of selecting the finalists from a large pool of outstanding entries.

🏆 The four finalist bands who will perform at Rock for People 🇨🇿 will be announced this Friday April 17 at 7:00 AM (Québec time).

Nous avons été extrêmement impressionnés par la qualité des groupes inscrits cette année à Planetrox Europe 2026. 🔥

Près de 125 groupes émergents Rock / Punk / Métal / Hardcore provenant de partout en Europe ont soumis leur candidature… et nos juges ont eu la lourde tâche de faire des choix parmi une foule d’excellentes propositions.

🏆 Les quatre groupes finalistes qui auront la chance de se produire au festival Rock for People 🇨🇿 seront dévoilés ce vendredi 17 avril à 7h00 AM (heure du Québec).

🎸 4 finalist bands will perform on June 10, 2026 at Rock for People 🇨🇿 alongside major acts like Gorillaz, Iron Maiden, Bring Me The Horizon, Megadeth, Halsey and Limp Bizkit.
