We always had fun and you thought I am the best driver EVER!

With a heavy heart I finally take the strength to share with you the very sad and difficult news, that my best friend is gone and unfortunately nothing can bring her back.

Leia got suddenly very ill in March and I went straight to the veterinarian clinic. A team of vets tried to help her with everything they got, but nothing worked. We were helpless and every day Leia was worst than the day before. After one week we had to let her go, she had to suffer no more. I was with her until the very end, her head on my legs and in my hands. My helpless hands and my crying heart that could not help her to have a longer life with me.

It was not discovered what had caused her suffering but the vet confirmed that it was nothing hereditary.

Leia came into my life over five years ago. She was my every day companion and shared with me so many moments of joy and laughter, and also difficult times to lean on to each other. She was always by my side and I was next to hers. We were always looking out for each other, like bests friends do. She never let me down, and I tried to give her the best she deserved every day of her life.

Leia had two litters and gave birth to 21 amazing puppies. I am lucky that to this day a lot of families still keep in contact with me. They share photos and news of their big furry family member and I am so happy that Leia continues to live in them, having made it possible for other people to enjoy a life time companion.

I wish you all lots of beautiful moments with your furry friends and family and a long meaningful life together! Lots of hugs to you and thank you for having shared this amazing and beautiful experience with me, keeping Leia’s memory alive in her puppies.

Avec grande tristesse, je vous partage la triste nouvelle que ma meilleure amie est partie en mars et elle me manque chaque jour. Ça me brise le coeur qu’elle ne revient plus jamais.

Leia a tombé malade très vite et pendant une semaine un équipe de vétérinaires a tout fait pour l’aider mais rien a fonctionné. Nous avons terminé sa souffrance et j’était avec elle jusqu’à la fin, sa tête sur mes jambes et dans mes mains. Mes mains qui n’ont pas était capable de l’aider pour avoir une vie plus longue avec moi.

Les vets n’ont pas trouvé la vrai raison de sa souffrance mais ils m’ont confirmé que ce n’était pas qqchose héréditaire.

Leia est arrivée dans ma vie il y a 5 1/2 ans et elle m’a donné tout son amour et confiance. Elle était là pour moi chaque jour, et moi j’était là pour elle chaque jours, nous deux de meilleures amies!

Elle a eu deux portées, 21 chiots. Je suis très reconnaissante que plusieurs familles sont encore en contact avec moi pour me donner des nouvelles et des photos de leur chien/ne. Comme cela Leia continue de vivre, et elle a rendu bcp de familles heureuses avec un ami pour la vie. Un membre de famille.

Merci d’avoir partager avec moi des moments inoubliables, la bel experience d’avoir eu une chienne vraiment superbe qui a eu deux portées! Je suis reconnaissante pour toujours et je ne vais jamais oublier!
