Pyralis Fire Systems Ltd. is growing, and we are currently looking for a Fire Protection Technician.

The main scope of work is as follows:
● Assist in the inspection of fire protection equipment. This includes fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, kitchen suppression, vehicle suppression, emergency lighting, and industrial suppression.
● Disassemble, repair, recharge and maintain all sizes of fire extinguishers.
● Disassemble, repair, recharge, and maintain kitchen suppression cylinders.
● Examine and replace worn suppression system parts.
● Hydrotest low-pressure cylinders.
● Work environment includes dusty conditions, working outside and carrying and lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
● Use hand and power tools, cylinder testing equipment and multimeter devices.
● Provide service to customers and assist with questions regarding the servicing of equipment and general fire equipment inquiries.
Minimum requirements:
● Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
● Be able to travel and work out of town as required.
● Have experience with hand tools and mechanical aptitude.
● Understand basic electrical concepts.
● Have safety equipment knowledge.
● Competent computer skills.
● Be able to fill out inspection forms on iPad accurately and efficiently.
● Ability to work independently.
