We have a position open for part time Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant.

Full knowledge of Sage 50 (Simply accounting) is required. Experience with Office 365 and TaxCycle software to be considered an asset.

The successful candidate will be assigned client quarterly and/or monthly reconciliations including full bank reconciliations, Tax breakouts for GST and PST remittance preparations (Filings to be done and finalized after review by accountant). GL maintenance and reconciliations for preparation of year end filing prior to file being handed to accountant for final filings, etc. Knowledge and experience with T1 (T777), T2125, T2 year end tax filings to be considered an asset.

***PLEASE NOTE*** this is an afternoon/evening and/or weekend work from a home based businesses located in the Hart Highway. Possibility for day work during week after 90 day probation period which can be discussed with those short listed for an interview. Hours prior to tax season can be expected for 20-30hrs a month, during tax season demand is higher and 40-60hrs a month is to be expected.
