The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) supports faculty in their goals of delivering the best possible learning experience for students, and developing themselves as teachers. Areas in which support is provided include e-learning issues, course developments for web delivery and technical mentoring, workshops and conferences, advocacy for the importance of teaching in the life of a university, and career mentoring for faculty as teachers.

Come to the Robert W. Tait Annual Lecture on Thursday, 2:30pm-4:00pm at The Gathering Place!

The Tait award recognizes educational leadership and innovations that enhance the learning experience of the student, either inside the classroom or outside of the classroom. It is open to both faculty and staff. This year, Lisa Scheck - UNBC Student Life Coordinator, and the first staff member to receive the award, will be giving the Tait Lecture.

2016 TA Workshops 01/05/2016

Happy New Year and Welcome Back! The Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology is hosting two TA Workshops in the winter semester. The purpose of the workshop is to provide tips and techniques for TAs in the classroom; collect strategies for interacting with students and managing the diverse needs of students in the classroom; and to identify the rights, roles, and responsibilities of a TA.

The first workshop will be held in two parts: on Wednesday, January 6th from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm and on Friday, January 8th from 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm. Participants must attend both parts of this workshop.

The second workshop will be held on Saturday, January 9th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Registration will close the day before the workshop, so be sure to register soon!!
