In March 2022, Equity Electric + Controls completed the Connexus Community Resources Parkview Place for the Nechako Valley Community Services Society in Vanderhoof, BC.

Parkview Place will be a 28-bed facility with 20 independent living apartments for seniors with low to moderate incomes on the second and third floors of the building.

Job Description

Equity Electric and Controls (a division of Equity Plumbing and Heating) is looking to hire a 1st or 2nd year Electrical Apprentice. If you are looking to join a diverse and fast paced organization with the opportunity for growth, apply today!

Responsibilities
• Applicants must be punctual, self motivated and organized with good communication skills. Must be able to work in a team setting, as well as independently and have a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications
• Electrical wood frame and steel stud construction experience.
• Residential/Commercial rough-in and finishing experience.
• Pipe bending skills.
• Current knowledge of the CEC as it applies to residential and commercial construction.
• Valid and up to date Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform Training is considered an asset.
