Dancing Tree Gallery is an art gallery featuring originals from Powell River artists, as well as a functioning pottery studio. Local potter Darlene Calwell has established a cult following for her beautifully functional stoneware. I went to the gallery to see what was coming out of the kiln (Meghan Hildebrand Art here! 😀) Darlene is great at finding new ways to use her glazes. Look at this pinstripe! She’s done a few in classic mug shapes with handles and a couple without handles, by request. It’s wedding season - the gallery has useful, timeless and beautiful gifts.
