And the winners are: THANK YOU to all those that attended the recent Port Colborne Lions carnival. It was a huge success, even though we were rained out on Thursday night. It is through your support that we are able to assist the youth of our community, as well as several groups within our community and the Lions community. And, yes, the winners of the various draws are as follows:

$1,000 gift card from CTC was won by Lina Van Esch of Port Colborne.
Two bicycles from CTC were won by Carmen Tamas of Port Colborne.
$1,000 coupon for tires from Murdoch's was won by Gary P**o of Thorold.
$1,000 gift cards to shop Niagara was won by Mark Van Kralingen of Port Colborne.
$600 gift certificate to No Frills PC was won by Deb Skuta of Port Colborne.
BBQ & $200 meat package was won by Brent Kovach of Port Colborne.

Just a reminder that one more early bird draw of $1,000 remains as part of our Major Car Draw for a 2026 Subaru Crosstrek with Onyx package. June 30th marks the end of the Lions year. The Port Colborne Lions have been true to their motto of “We Serve” by raising funds to support our youth, our community, and our Lions International projects with over $64,000 in donations made this year. At our recent meetings in June, the PC Lions made donations of $4,000 to Port Cares food bank, $4,000 to Community Living Park for special needs, $4,000 to PC Special Olympics and $2,000 to Ronald McDonald House. In addition, the May PetValu Walk for Dog Guides raised over $10,300. Shown here are the various groups receiving their donations. Going forward, we are ready for our annual carnival which starts up Thursday, July 9th at 6 pm and runs until Sunday, July 12th at 6 pm. Come on down for some great fun and treats. And don’t forget all the great prizes that will be given away: a 50:50 draw, lawn furniture, $1,000 in gift cards, $1,000 value in tires, bicycles and the $1,000 early bird draw for our SUV draw later this year.
