Subject: Important Reminder: 2024 RRSP Contribution Deadline Approaching

This post is to remind you that the deadline for making your 2024 RRSP contributions is March 3, 2025.
Key Information for Your 2024 RRSP Contributions:

The RRSP contribution limit for 2024 is 18% of your earned income from 2024, up to a maximum of $31,560
This is in addition to any unused contribution room from previous years
Your personal contribution limit can be found on your most recent Notice of Assessment from the CRA

Additional Registered Account Limits:

Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA): The 2024 contribution limit is $7,000
First Home Savings Account (FHSA): The annual contribution limit is $8,000, with a lifetime limit of $40,000

Making the most of your registered accounts is an important part of your financial strategy. We would be happy to schedule a meeting to review your current contributions and discuss strategies to maximize your tax benefits for the year. We can use DocuSign, ZOOM, telephone, or email to plan for your paperwork to be completed well in advance of the deadline. We recommend all paperwork be completed by 5PM February 28, 2024, for proper processing.
