Some projects leave a lasting impression, and this new home build is definitely one of them. So much thought, creativity, and craftsmanship went into every detail, making it an absolute privilege to be part of bringing this vision to life.

The concrete floors, warm linear rift oak cabinetry by yours truly 😉, and sleek metal toe kick create a rich industrial-modern aesthetic that feels both sophisticated and inviting. Every finish was intentionally selected to complement the next, proving that it's the collaboration of talented people that truly makes a home special.

The overall concept and design by Counting On Design set the tone for an unforgettable space. The custom metalwork throughout the home by Aaron Brough adds striking character, while the stunning beams and handcrafted bench by Joseph Prinzen Woodworks bring warmth, texture, and timeless craftsmanship.

There is something incredibly rewarding about working alongside people who are passionate about what they do. Watching each trade bring their expertise to the table reminds me that the best projects are never created by one person—they're the result of a shared vision, trust, and a commitment to excellence.

From the windows and lighting to the flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and architectural details, this kitchen underwent a complete transformation.

The homeowners came to us with a strong sense of how they wanted the space to feel, and our role was to refine the vision and bring cohesion to every design decision. An existing wall was removed and a full addition was incorporated to create a more open, functional layout with improved flow throughout the home.

The antique pantry doors served as the foundation for the design direction — inspiring a layered mix of old and new materials that gives the space both character and timelessness. Every finish and fixture was selected intentionally to create a space that feels elevated, collected, and seamlessly connected.
