Enhanced Day Program

we have made the choice to overlook a special group of people. These individuals with Autism often live in residential programs but do not have any programs to go to during the day due to their behaviours, often being left inside of there home or there community while the other individuals in the residence go to specific day programs. Our Purpose
To provide an accepting, high tolerant, inclusive daily program for Autistic people with behavioral management issues, that is consistently delivered in a safe environment by experienced staff with problem solving and adaptability skills that respond appropriately in an attentive, caring, decisive and professional manner. A specific individualized plan for each client, based on their personal gifting’s, needs and their teams’ understanding of the individual will be created. Flexible
We also realize that for some individuals having a “set-in-stone” schedule is not an option. There maybe times where they want to stop working on cognitive skills, or stop watching a movie and will want to go to the fitness section of the facility. Accepting
We will not control or force any individual to do anything that they do not want to do. In all situations we focus on the individuals using their tools to communicate what they want to do, instead of acting out or running to a specific section of the facility. Offering an Opportunity to Grow
Our goal every day is to allow the individual the opportunity to grow in their social skills, communication skills, recreation skills and daily life skills. And through all of these skill building opportunities, making sure that the individuals and there staff feels safe in everything they do.
