🏗️📚 We are grateful to the Ontario government for its investment of $11.2 million to support a new addition at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Courtice.

🎉 The project will create 253 new secondary student spaces, helping us meet the needs of our growing community and ensuring students have access to modern learning environments that support their success.

💬 As PVNC Catholic CEO and CEdO Stephen O'Sullivan said, this investment will help ensure our students have access to the infrastructure they need to "inspire, thrive and connect."

🏫 After more than 140 years of faith-filled learning, community, and tradition, St. Michael Catholic Elementary School has officially closed its doors.

On the final day of school, students and staff gathered to celebrate the school's remarkable legacy. Highlights included the opening of a time capsule from 2000, the creation of a new 2026 time capsule, and a special school-wide assembly as the St. Michael community said goodbye to a beloved school.

🎭🎤 Turning learning into action!

Grade 6 students at St. Anne Catholic Elementary School in Peterborough completed a student-led deep learning project focused on addressing food insecurity in their community.

From researching local issues and connecting with St. Vincent de Paul to organizing a bake sale, food drive, and today's talent show, students took the lead every step of the way. Their efforts raised $836.30 and collected six boxes of non-perishable food items for those in need.

We're so proud of these students for putting their faith into action and demonstrating the Catholic social teachings of human dignity, solidarity, and care for those in need.
