Hope's Helpers is named after the first stray kitten I (Kerri-Anne) ever saved. I was just in my early teens at the time and found a poor flea bitten starving kitten outside. I pleaded with my mom to let me bring her in. She was a beautiful black kitty and was very desperate for some food. I bathed her and relieved her of some of her suffering from the fleas.
