Grateful to step-in for concert this weekend. Getting more preparation on Contra, funny enough that I still have not play Brahms 3 bassoon part yet but twice on contra already.

It has some tricky high chromatic passages, delicate soft playing and powerful power chorale. Good to revisit and consolidate some contra playing with my wonderful colleague Simion and Jodi!! Thanks for having me again!!

Second batch finished reeds for ‘s students!! Adjustment made to fit the weather in Hong Kong, subtropical weather, more humid and warmer temperature.

40 pieces of Rigotti gouged cane for ZeChao Feng’s student in Shandong, China. When I was a student, it’s always hard to buy affordable cane to learn reed-making. Hopefully this can help your student’s reed making journey!!
