Who's planning Christmas desserts right now? Some of you must be! My English Trifle has been the top searched recipe on my site since Sunday.
Not going to lie, there are a lot of components;
*Homemade almond pound cake
*poached pears,
*fresh berries
*homemade custard
and of course lots of fresh whipped cream!
(Did I mention that the pound cake layers are liberally sprinkled with two types of liqueurs?)
This dessert is a show-stopper and always a hit. (Not to mention it serves about 16-20 people!)
