I spent Wednesday with Grade 10 students talking about credit scores, banking, student debt, and money habits. One thing that stood out? Many of the same credit myths that confuse adults are already reaching our teens.
Financial literacy starts with simple conversations at home. The earlier our kids understand how credit works, the more confident they’ll be when it’s time to make financial decisions on their own.
And for the record… carrying a balance does not help your credit score. 😉
