- Happy International Dance Day!
Meet Propeller Dance!
The image 1 shows a stage performance in a dark theatrical space with focused lighting. Moni sits in a powered wheelchair near the center of the stage, illuminated by a soft spotlight. Sylvain is positioned behind and slightly to the side, leaning forward and holding onto the back of Moni’s wheelchair. An empty manual wheelchair is visible further to the right, highlighted by red stage light. The reflective stage floor and black background draw attention to the connection between the two performers and the wheelchairs.
The image 2 shows a stage performance in a softly lit space. Liz sits in a manual wheelchair at the center of the frame. Nathalie is positioned on top of Liz, leaning backward so that Nathalie’s upper body extends outward while Nathalie’s legs rest across Liz’s lap. Both wear blue garments that visually connect their bodies. The wheelchair’s wheels and frame are visible, grounding the pose. The wooden stage floor is evenly lit, and the background remains dark and uncluttered, drawing attention to the intertwined arrangement of the two performers.

Joyeuse Journée Internationale de la danse!
Rencontrez Propeller Dance!

[Image Description: This poster promotes “What Holds Us: A Works in Progress Show” by Propeller Dance, using a dynamic, contemporary design. The right side features a layered collage of black-and-white, halftone-style images of dancers in expressive poses, some with arms raised and others facing the viewer, suggesting movement, collaboration, and emotion. Behind them, bursts of bright color—pink, blue, yellow, and orange—radiate outward, adding energy and contrast. The left side contains a light gray panel with the Propeller Dance logo and event details: the performance takes place on April 17th and 18th, 2026 at 7:00pm, at 2 Daly Ave (ODD box), with a “pick your price” ticket model ranging from $10 to $50. Along the bottom, a black bar reads that tickets and access information are available at propellerdance.com, and several sponsor and arts organization logos are displayed beneath. The overall visual style blends bold typography, grayscale imagery, and vibrant color accents to evoke a modern dance performance.]

Throwback Thursday to our last Outreach activity: Wheels & Feet Dance class with Gloucester High ✨
Sharing the joy of movement and creative expression with such an enthusiastic group was incredibly energizing. The kids brought so much positivity - cheering each other on, lifting each other up, and celebrating every moment together.
Moments like these remind us that when we move together, we truly propel each other forward. Huge thank you to MASC for continuously supporting us and sharing our inclusive dance practice in our schools and communities.
