This year, Capital Ribfest celebrate it's 10th Anniversary June 5-7 at our beautiful NEW location, the RA Centre in Central Ottawa, complete with loads of parking, public transit nearby, and a relaxing lawn near the Rideau River. Bring your lawn chairs, your blankets, and your appetites because it's going to be SMOKIN' GOOD!

BIG STICKY NEWS: WE ARE MOVING!

On behalf of our entire Capital Ribfest Big Sticky Team, we want to wish ALL of you an amazing 2026, and may you enjoy your full share of Ribfest this year.

As we get ready to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our Award Winning Capital RibFest Ottawa, we want to share with you some very exciting (and sad) news. For almost a decade, we have been proud to say that we brought a lot of FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN and EXCITEMENT to downtown Ottawa at Marion Dewar Festival Plaza. We have put BIG STICKY smiles and filled the bellies of 100s of Thousands of People. In addition, we have attracted 10s of Thousands of Tourists to our Capital City while generating plenty of buzz in the downtown community.

As a result of the City Hall Senior Staff advising us last year that we had to find a new location because of scheduled construction that unfortunately never happened and then this year being told that Capital Ribfest would not be happening at Marion Dewar Festival Plaza this year, we have made the decision to relocate it to the Ottawa RA Centre located at 2451 Riverside Dr., Ottawa, ON right beside Billings Bridge Mall between Bronson Avenue and Bank Street over looking the Beautiful Rideau River. Our new home will feature public transit, plenty of parking, public accessibility, bike friendly transporation, and it will be within walking distance for 1000s of Ottawa Residents looking to enjoy the Tastes and Smells of Capital Ribfest!

It's been a real pleasure to serve you in downtown Ottawa, and now we are ready to serve more of you this summer at our new home at the Ottawa RA Centre. Thank you Everyone for all of your support, and we look forward to joining the Ottawa PoutineFest at the Ottawa RA Centre. Please join us this summer as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary of Capital Ribfest, which promises to be the BEST and BIGGEST one yet!
