Here we go❣️Last month I posted about Pierre needing a kidney transplant and that Anastasia Doubinina his wife, best friend and business partner at Milano Pizza in Manotick, was fortunately a perfect match for a donor. Their surgery scheduled for January 17, was postponed but with Pierre’s health in jeopardy, Anastasia would not relent until they were given the green light. Today, Pierre is being admitted for final preparations before tomorrow morning’s surgery. Anastasia will be admitted tomorrow and have her surgery shortly there after. Hopefully she will be out of the anaesthesia before Pierre has had his successful transplant and to be first to hear the good news. To all those who have already sent positive messages, I can tell you from the many conversations I’ve had with both Pierre & Anastasia, the messages and well wishing has given them all the strength they needed to get to this day. To their staff at 990 River Rd. Milano Pizza Manotick, we couldn’t be more grateful for the efforts you have put in to keep customers satisfied. Being absent from work for as long as has been necessary, the staff truly saved this business.
