Hearing this old song inspired me to write this.

Whenever a song with a smooth shuffle beat played at any social gathering—especially at parties and weddings—my parents would immediately rise from their seats and glide onto the dance floor.

To me, they seemed to float, as if their feet barely touched the ground, moving effortlessly like they were walking on water.

And it wasn’t just me who noticed. Although I wasn’t an expert, I only had to glance at the faces around them to see the delight and awe in the eyes of those watching. The magic my parents created was unmistakable.

These were truly magical moments.

I did this interview over twenty years ago, shortly after I left corporate life. And after reading "Conversations with God"...
