In today's The Globe and Mail, Roots Strategies partner Deliah Bernard challenges the growing calls to weaken Indigenous consultation in the name of “progress.”
Her message is clear: meaningful, early, and respectful engagement with Indigenous communities isn't a barrier — it's how we unlock real, lasting outcomes in infrastructure, energy, and nation-building.
