Southminster is home to a legendary 9’ Heintzman concert grand piano, originally from Massey Hall in Toronto, where it spent the first half of the 20th-century as a concert piano played by such artists as Horowitz, Rubenstein, and Rachmaninov. Southminster is the proud home of Steinway D606, a splendid nine-foot grand piano, manufactured in 2012 and first brought to the region by the Ottawa Steinway Gallery, then purchased by the church through nearly $150,000 in donations from music and piano lovers across the region.
