The Ontario Brain Institute (OBI) is committed to enhancing brain health through evidence-informed care in the community. OBI runs a funding and support program called the Growing Expertise in Evaluation and Knowledge Translation (GEEK) program.
In case you missed it, we announced our 2024 GEEK recipients that were awarded a total of $536K last month!🎉
🔹 The Royal Mental Health Centre – Ozerdinc Grimes Family Regional Psychosis Clinic (Ottawa)
🔹 Progress Place – Senior’s Corner Program (Toronto)
🔹 City of Ottawa, Inclusive Recreation Branch – ABI Day Program (Ottawa)
🔹 Brain Injury Canada – Correction System Education Program (National)
Since 2018, the GEEK program provides community organizations with essential funding and evaluation expertise to address community needs effectively and showcase the positive impact of their efforts on clients' quality of life.
