I was just talking with a guy who has an AIO HP computer for sale for 75$. I started talking to him and told him why I was buying it. I told him my business consists of two branches, one branch does repairs etc. for those who need that service, and i charge for it. The other branch is where i recycle older, donated PC's to be able to give them free to folks who cannot afford a used computer. In this case a girl, named Lisa, is the next person on my list of about 12 so far.

He started to think I was weird and began to ignore me, even though I made it clear that I had the 75$ he was asking foir, and could come to Centertown and pick it up at whatever time he proposed. He ignored everything I said after explaining what I was going to do with that AIO PC.

I kept telling him my money is as good as anyone else's, and that I could bring in cash to him and pick up the PC but no, no he continued to ignore me. Imagine the type of person who would DO THAT! It was just to spite me for offering him 60 to tart with, and settling on 65$. He seemed to get put off by that; when I finally said hey, I have it, he began ignoring everything i said after that. I offered and offered and he ignored and ignored, hoping i would just go away, or maybe he blocked me, and yet i did not see "this person has you blocked" when I typed to him, so........ I have no idea what was going on. It broke my heart as hear I was being as honest as I could be, and all he could do is pretend that I didn't even exist. WHY? Why do people do this?

Well, like most small businesses during this Pandemic, my work demand has slowed measurably. I am still onboard, except to say that I am spending personal time composing music, rather than dissecting laptops! STILL available though...!

HEY if there are any persons in the Ottawa area that are interested in buying a 24" HD widescreen PC monitor with all three cables (DVI, VGA and power) included in the price of 70$ I have one available for sale. In excellent condition.... I got two for myself a month or so ago because they were so cheap and no i can see 6 web pages side by side across both monitors in front of me. Being a composer, I can view an entire orchestra score in one full uninterrupted page! Great for music projects, graphic design work you name it. they used to be 5, 600 buks just a year ago! Such a wintery, snowy February already! This time of the year work slows down for me. Getting out and about, around, is difficult with all the messy, icy roads and sidewalks. Still available though! I had a couple of fantastic experiences doing work for people at the end of december! A father with his little kid son; must have been oh, about 8 or 9 i guess. His father had inherited a really nice laptop from work that he no longer was involved with, and was able to keep the laptop, but had long forgotten the password. The laptop was in brand new condition because it had not been used much at all.

So the father brought it to me to get it opened and running. A day later they came to pick it up and knowing by then, the father was going to give it to his boy, i knelt down to his level and told the little guy that he had a really nice laptop and to be very careful with it, to always keep drinks far enough away not to spill on it and etc. he was so happy to get it. it was a wonderful experience! A warm story for a cold season :) I can help YOU too!!
